About National day and Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration Event:

CSSA 2008 National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration has been a conventional activity at UC Davis for more than 10 years. Last year, the event attracted more than 500 Chinese and American friends, including University Chancellor Larry N. Vanderhoef, Consulate General the People's Republic of China in San Francisco Gao Zhansheng, and Mayor of Davis Ruth Asmundson.  The performances include chorus, folk dancing, hip-hop, magic show, funny opuscula, etc. Not only Chinese students used their talents to rock the stage, artists invited from bay area and Sacramento area also blew audience away.  This event was highlighted by several major Chinese media in North America, and the video will be posted on the CSSA website.
